Four students from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, have launched a learning mobile application called Pasco.

Pasco aims to give students a new learning experience by providing a platform which lets students access past test questions and answers, take tests wherever they are, comment on questions and collaborate with friends to discuss and solve questions together….all from their smartphones.

According to Isaac Sesim on of the team members, “Pasco is the beginning of a set of innovative solutions we plan to develop for the educational sector and we are really looking forward to seeing how it improves the academic lives of students”,

The beta version has been developed purposely for Engineering students in KNUST, but includes a number of general courses which will benefit students doing other programs. A full list of currently available courses can be found at here . According to the team, more and more courses are being added each day.

Students in KNUST can download the Android version of Pasco from Google Play. According to the developers, an iOS version of the app will be released early next year.

Students in other schools can sign up to get notified when Pasco comes to their school.
